Today was a pretty annoying one at work, so I’ve spent the bulk of the day emotionally red-lining to be fully transparent and honest. Then heading out afterwards, I found myself surrounded by some questionably-intelligent individuals in some otherwise simple, normally drama-free scenarios.
So now, while safe and relaxed in my own home shelter from dumb, and thinking back to a few of the things that “ground my gears”, I started pondering other stuff that still does and has over the course of the past weeks, months, hell year . And hey, the blog’s been a little quiet as of late; so why not liven it up by sharing a few of the things that bug me to my very core… After all, it can’t be about pictures all the time… 😅 So here they are, the various-colored Kryptonites to my Superman –
• Agile & Scrum Application Development philosophies – and if you’re thinking, “well you must not be doing it right”, punch yourself in the throat for me
• Female “men experts” who still believe the outdated philosophy that “all [hetero] men are looking to be the provider for their women, and to be exalted for it” 🙄 – get a job and provide for yourself; relationships should be about ‘partnership’, ya hack
• Gym guys that feel the need to “cologne”-up before a workout – seriously bro, we’re already struggling to keep the oxygen going; and “sugary-sweat smell” ain’t foolin’ nobody…
• People so entitled, they neglect to say ‘thank you’ – it ain’t all about you, asshat; be thankful for *everything* and *every action*
• Doritos being over 4 bucks a bag now – what in the damn hell…
• According to Jim – honestly, this show is like winning a year’s supply of wet cookies.
• The fact that at some point within the last two months of the year, I’m going to accidentally stumble upon that God-awful “All I Want For Christmas” song by Mariah “She’s Probably Hiding Under Your Bed Waiting To Kill You” Carey, and not be able to get away fast enough – this shouldn’t need an explanation 😩
• The statement, “wearing masks is political” – it’s a *mask*, stfu and put it on… honestly.
• The Tuesday after a 3-day weekend – you are truly from the Devil…
• Putting a pickle on *anything* I’m about to eat or, for that matter, be in close proximity to – what the actual hell is the matter with you?
• Drum ‘N Bass songs under 3 mins – what am i supposed to do with this…? You ain’t even gotten high enough before trying to bring the drop… 🤨
• Any guy going in a bathroom with 3 vacant urinals and choosing the middle one – I hope you stumble and fall in, ya jerk…
