Today’s adventure: dismantling a classic dryer (… again) –
See normal weather/dryer set –See dryer pulled by itself bc it’s being a jerk and putting reddish streaks on my friggin’ clothes…See me begin to rip the crap outta said dryer…Pure anger? Nah. (Well, not now…) The idea is to replace the felt seal that runs along the back of the drum. Apparently the adhesive attacking the seal is disintegrating and leaving its final words all over my stuff… So, gotta rip into it to get to the old seal –…And there’s the culprit…Goodbye old digs, in with the new –Red, white and blue – America’s seal, kids! All attached and refreshed. Now we wait for the new adhesive to cure on the new seal and Bob’s your uncle.90 mins later – the beast is back to its normal self. (If I see one reddish streak when I finally use it though, the next tool I use will be a sledge’omatic.)
