For the record, shoulder surgery ain’t a party… 😷

… But there are worse things in the world, especially in my case. 😊👍🏼 No complaints here – I survived! 😅, the procedure went well, and so far recovery has been mostly a non-issue. Some noticeable cons: really terrible sleep due to not being able to get comfortable, some extremely aggravating reactions from an unanticipated nerve block running its course (ugh, what an awful sensation!), and random but mild nausea in small waves from time to time. But, again, it’s done, could’ve been soooo much worse, and everyday is a day closer to being back at my full! Heck, even hitting up PT only 2 days after surgery isn’t the nightmare one might think.

Very thankful for and to my support system for keeping watch and checking in on me; even in the most uncomfortable and inconvenient of times, blessings abound and I’m not oblivious to, or dismissive of, them. And of course praise to God for being so very faithful and having made this experience as manageable, tolerable, and successful as possible. 🙏🏽 Highly favored. ✝️
